Exceptional Attention to Every Little Detail

Built in 1841, The Hermitage, is one of the oldest properties in Petersburg, West Virginia. It was converted into a hotel in 1881 and has been in operation ever since. Today, the hotel begins a new chapter as The Hermitage Inn and Taphouse, though details of its rich past have been lovingly preserved. From our welcoming and inviting communal spaces, to our stylish yet comfortable guest rooms, the new look and atmosphere of the hotel draws inspiration from the mountainous landscape surrounding it.
